RVLC "Try-it" Session

We have setup two "Try-it" sessions to allow non-member to experience Lifesaving sport activities this summer. Session #1: June 29th, 2013 (SAT), 12:00pm - 3:30pm @  Bluffer's Park Beach Session #2: July 7th, 2013 (SUN), 12:00pm - 3:30pm @ Bluffer's Park Beach Each "Try-it" session cost $10 per person, which covers insurance and equipment transportation. Each individual must fill out the registration form on Page 1,3,4, and bring it to the "Try-it" session. Registration form can be downloaded from here . Please feel free to invite friends and family. Hope to see you all in the beach.

Cupcake-O-Gram Supporting RVLC

We are hosting a Cupcakes-O-gram as an initiative to fundraise for the development of the club. The purpose of the club is to engage youths and community in lifesaving sport during the summer.  Lifesaving sport focuses on developing water lifesaving skills, such as open water swimming, paddle-boarding, beach running and water rescue abilities of the individual.   As quoted from the Ontario Lifesaving Society “ Lifesaving sport is the only sport whose skills are first learned for humanitarian purposes. Through lifesaving sport, the Lifesaving Society seeks to engage and inspire youth in our drowning prevention mission. ” We know how much we all love sweets, and we also hope you would like to support our club in providing a platform for youths to engage in lifesaving sport. Beautiful day to practice

What a beautiful day to do some surf board training. Although the water temperature is still cold, a good wetsuit will do the job.  Looking forward for a great summer. 

Lifesaving Society Invites you to Ontario Waterfornt Lifesaving Championships

This year the event is hosted by Toronto Police Lifeguard Service from Aug 11th to 13th. Application forms can be found in the Forms section, also can be found in Lifesaving Society website . For those who is not familiar with the rules, please check out the competition manual .
